Yitzhak Gal got his MBA from Tel Aviv University, in 1979. He is co-chair of the Dayan Center Middle East Economic Forum, and co-editor of “Iqtisadi”, the Dayan Center periodical on Middle East Economic Affairs.
Gal has published numerous articles and works in his field of expertise. Among the latest contributions: “Palestine: A State in the Making?”, a book co-edited by Gal.
Gal has participated, and has presented papers, in academic events, conferences and workshops on various Middle East economic and business issues, including, inter alia: "The Economic Impact of the International Sanctions on Iran” (the Herzliya Conference 2011 and 2012); “Israeli – Jordanian Economic Relations” and “Jordan Economic Challenges”; “The Economic Might of the Arabian Gulf Countries”, and “the Arabian Gulf Market”; “ The Palestinian Economy”, and “Israeli – Palestinian Economic Relations”. Gal has participated in various joint Israeli-Palestinian and Israeli-Palestinian-Jordanian economic research projects; and has been consulting on Middle Eastern economic and business issues to Israeli government ministries, international aid organizations, leading NGOs and companies in various fields of business. Gal lectures to various audiences, and presents commentary and analyses on these issues in the Israeli and international media.
